We work with clients across NS, NB, NL and Alberta from all backgrounds and ages.

We have no waitlists, can direct bills to most insurance, including but not limited to NIHB, Blue Cross, Canada Life, Green Shield, IA, Chambers of Commerce, GMS, Manulife, Claim Secure, FNHA and the Indian Residential School Fund. If you have any private insurance, you would like us to try to direct the bill to just connect back with your information.

If your insurance is with the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) or through the Indian Residential School (IRS) Fund, there is an application process. For NIHB and the IRS-funded clients, Help In the Maritimes covers the remaining fee that NIHB doesn’t for the counsellor's time, so there is no cost to you if approved for services for any session attended.
